Where do I start if I am new here?
Read a few threads on the lane you actually ship, then post your own with the basics: origin, destination, cargo type, volume and whether you are on groupage or a full box. Vague posts get vague answers.
A short map of the forum, the customs notes and the route threads, so you can find the right desk before you post your lane.
Guide Center / FAQ
If you are new to the forum, these are the things people usually want cleared up first. Nothing here is legal advice, just how the board works and where to look when a lane or a document has you stuck.

Yes, but members will point you to the right field or heading rather than fill the form for you. Post the section you are unsure about and what your broker has already submitted. Screenshots of the invoice and packing list help.
You can discuss what a lane typically costs and which surcharges catch people out, but the forum is not a quote board. Members share context, not live pricing, and carrier reviews are based on their own shipments.
Give the week you are shipping and what you have heard from your carrier. Transit times on the corridor shift with berthing windows and trucking slots, so a dated question gets a much more useful reply.
That is most of what the board is for. Keep it factual: what worked, what did not, and the conditions you shipped under. Personal disputes and anything off-topic get removed by the moderators.
Post it in the closest matching thread or start a new one. If it is about how the forum itself runs, or you need something escalated, reach the team through the contact page and we will route it.

Support desk
The forum handles most lane and paperwork questions, but some things need a person. If a SAD 500 line is disputed, a depot is holding your release, or you want a second pair of eyes on a packing list before the vessel berths, use the channels below. Tell us the lane, the commodity and the reference number so the first reply is useful instead of a round of clarifying emails.
Best for clearance paperwork, tariff classification questions and anything with an attachment. Include the invoice number and the port of entry.

Call when a container is sitting on demurrage or a trucking slot is about to lapse. Keep the container number and release reference at hand.

Before you write, the FAQ section on this page covers the questions that come up most often, from groupage versus full container decisions to what a customs broker actually submits on your behalf. If your question is already answered there, you will usually have your answer in a minute rather than a day.
